I’m proud to publicly endorse Jackie Jewett for Mason County Commissioner.
I’ve had the opportunity to know Jackie in several different parts of life, and that’s a big part of why I feel confident putting my name behind her. I’ve seen the way she shows up for people, the way she gives her time, the way she supports this community, and the way she genuinely cares about the people around her.
One of the things I respect most about Jackie is that her commitment to serving others didn’t start with a campaign.
For years, she has poured into Mason County through education, local businesses, community events, donations, volunteering, and simply being willing to step in and help when someone needs it.
I’ve also seen the kind of educator Jackie is. She builds real relationships with her students and makes sure they know they matter. She listens to them, encourages them, pushes them to succeed, and takes their success personally. As a parent, seeing someone care that deeply about the kids in our community means a lot to me.
Those same qualities are some of the reasons I believe she would serve Mason County well. Jackie listens. She communicates. She works hard. She asks questions. She pays attention to the details, and when she commits herself to something, she doesn’t do it halfway.
Working alongside Jackie and helping with this campaign has also given me the chance to hear more about why she chose to run. It wasn’t because she wanted a political title. From my perspective, her decision came from years of watching our community, seeing areas where she believes we can do better, and deciding that instead of continuing to ask why things weren’t changing, she was willing to step forward and be part of making that change happen.
I think that says a lot about who Jackie is.
Mason County is our home. The decisions being made here affect our families, our businesses, our kids, and our future. I want people in leadership positions who genuinely care about the outcome and who are willing to listen to the people affected by those decisions every day.
That is why I am proud to endorse Jackie Jewett for Mason County Commissioner.

Jackie is the person we need in Mason County, because she isn't a politician she is a educator.
She has taught the children of Mason County for over 20 years, she runs her own successful business, and has a degree in administration.
Theses are all good skills to have as a Commissioner. She is data driven, knows how to maintain a accurate budget, knows what extra help kids need in a certain area based on data and implements what ever changes need to be made so the child is successful. This skill would be beneficial to many areas in the Commissioners office.
Jackie wants to be a Commissioner because she fills she can be successful in making changes that are beneficial to the County.
I've heard a few folks running for the Commissioners postion say" because it's my time or my turn"
